And it was all true. I saw someone - later we realized the victims of the midnight channel before they died...it was the first time I heard Izanagi's voice speaking to me. After I saw the image I reached out to the TV and...realized I could put my hand through it.

The next day I told Chie and Yosuke. I should have mentioned...they were the first two people who befriended me at the school.
[He can't help but smile then.]
They didn't believe me of course. But Yosuke's father is the manager at the Junes branch in Inaba. [You know, Persona WalMart] So we visited the electronics department. I stuck my hand in again. And then...we all fell in.
A place we'd later find out is called the TV world. Imagine falling into an area that looks like a stage, but with so much fog you can't see in front of you.

Yeah. We meet a creature in there, Teddie. He pushed us back out, but after Saki showed up dead, Yosuke wanted us to go back into the TV world and figure out what could have happened...she was the girl we had all seen watching the Midnight Channel. It had to be connected somehow...
[AND THEY MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN DETAINED AT THAT POINT CAUSE YOSUKE BROUGHT WEAPONS AT THE FOOD COURT BUT...THAT ASIDE.]
The both of us went back to see if we could find out more about what was causing the murders...we got attached by shadows. The voice that had echoed in my head before told me to call him out. So I did.
[If only he knew, he'd be angry for you. He looks at Akira, a bit confused, thinking. Did it hurt?]
Hmmm...It was a painful headache when he spoke to me. My eyes felt like they'd pop out of my skull...then it was more like a release when I crushed the card?

A splitting headache, that made me feel like my head was about to burst open. I could barely breathe, I could barely think. . . but there was a voice.

And then there was a mask. Ripping it off the first time hurt, too.
